Our Story

 

To tell the story of Tim Fresh, we start with Tim himself and his childhood. His earliest memories consist of him joyfully sliding down a slippery dip in the park with his grandfather waiting at the bottom to feed him juicy summer tomatoes, feta, onion, drowned in olive oil, slat and a few drops of vinegar (with fresh bread to soak it all up). This would all be transported to the park in a in a recycled feta cheese tub. This was Tim’s first but far from his last experience and inspiring moment of what would be Tim Fresh.

Over the last decade, Tim has been working as a chef in various establishments across Sydney, broadening and developing his palate for good food and understanding what customers want and need. Seeking experience at places which are directly involved in the process to get a staunch knowledge and understanding of nose to tail butchery, pickling, fermenting and enforcing the idea of making as many things from scratch. Working hand in hand with this ethos is the aim to work with sustainable and eco friendly packaging solutions and waste minimisation which we think are just as important as the quality of our food. 

The beauty of Tim Fresh is nothing is ever set in stone and we are fluid and ever changing much like the seasons and what they offer us. And with that, we’re excited you’re along for the ride.
